Our glass engraving service starts from just £20.00 + VAT, with generous discounts available on orders of five or more, making us a trusted and affordable choice for both individuals and businesses with larger-volume needs.
The nature of our business is bespoke, and every project is one-of-a-kind and, therefore, requires a tailored quote, depending on the following factors:
Artwork Requirements
For the best results on glass, we need a properly formatted vector file (.AI, .EPS, or high-res .PDF). Artwork prep can take anywhere from 15 minutes to several hours, depending on complexity.
Machine Setup & Preparation
Glass engraving demands a precise setup. Your item must be carefully aligned in the machine, often with multiple adjustments. Laser settings — power, speed, and pulse frequency — are fine-tuned to the glass type and thickness, preventing chipping and frosting while ensuring a clean, professional finish.
Processing Time
Detailed artwork requires slower engraving speeds and reduced spacing between intervals to achieve a crisp, clean finish. While this delivers striking results, it does increase processing time, especially for large or intricate motifs.
-
While we can't engrave in colour, we can enhance your engraving by using specialised carnauba wax, which is available in a range of metallic colours. This semi-permanent wax is carefully rubbed and buffed into the engraved area, creating contrast and making the design stand out, especially on tinted or dark-coloured glass.

Absolutely — we can engrave the vast majority of glass types. With over a decade of experience, we’ve perfected our techniques when engraving a wide range of popular glassware brands, including LSA, Riedel, and Waterford, for example.
Take lead crystal, for example: its brilliance comes from a higher lead content, which makes it more sensitive to engraving. With the correct settings and surface treatment, we're able to achieve crisp, flake-free results.

Because glass varies widely in quality and composition, laser engraving can sometimes be unpredictable, especially with premium or delicate pieces.
Over the years, we've refined our techniques to consistently deliver high-quality results across a wide range of glassware, including well-known brands like LSA, Waterford, Riedel, and Lehmann.
When we’re unsure of how a specific glass type will react, we take a cautious and tested approach. We’ll discreetly engrave a small test square in an inconspicuous area to determine the ideal laser settings. We also use tried-and-true methods to treat and prepare the glass surface, helping to minimise flaking and prevent any damage during the engraving process.
