The price of resizing a ring depends on several factors—such as the complexity of the design, the type of metal, any gemstones set into the band, and whether the ring needs to be sized up or down.

As a guide, ring resizing typically ranges from £30 to £200+, depending on the work required.

You’ll have the opportunity to speak directly with our goldsmith, who will guide you through the necessary steps and explain the repair process. Once we've evaluated your piece of jewellery, we’ll provide you with a detailed quote and an accurate time frame for the work.

As a general guideline, we aim to complete most basic repairs within 1–5 working days. Rest assured, we’ll always work efficiently to return your jewellery as quickly as possible, without ever compromising on the quality and care that go into every piece.

Packaging & Delivery Guidelines

• Pack items securely to protect against scratches, dents, or damage.

• We recommend sending all parcels via a tracked and insured postal or courier service for added peace of mind.

• Include your name, contact details, and return postage address and order reference (if applicable).

• Include your jewellery repair details—the type of repair needed (e.g. resizing, chain repair, stone replacement), the size or measurements, the area of damage or work required, and any helpful notes about the piece.

Using our long-standing connections with the various stone dealers in Hatton Garden, our gemologist will source a suitable replacement diamond or gemstone in line with the original shape, size, and colour to guarantee your replacement seamlessly matches either the original or any existing stones in your item of jewellery.

Re-tipping involves replacing or rebuilding the worn tips of the claws (or prongs) that hold your gemstone securely in place.

You may need re-tipping if:

• Your ring snags on clothing — a common sign that the prongs are worn.

• A prong looks noticeably shorter or is missing.

• The gemstone feels loose when touched.

Over time, the prongs can become thin and weak, putting the gemstone at risk of falling out. Re-tipping helps to strengthen the claws and ensure that the precious stone remains securely in place.

Yes. At our jewellery workshop, we ensure the professional cleaning of your jewellery through a meticulous multi-step process. First, we examine your item for any signs of damage or wear. Then, we use ultrasonic cleaning machines to remove dirt and grime that naturally builds up over time. Finally, all pieces are polished to restore their original finish before undergoing a final quality check.
